CA Recorder Features & Benefits

High level analog signals, typically volts representing physiological signals, are delivered to the CA Recorder input junction box from a telemetry base station or hardwired amplifier.

Input connections are provided on the junction box, which leads to the 48-channel analog to digital (A/D) Converter within the CA Recorder system. The A/D board then samples each input signal at configurable rates up to 1000 samples per second.

Each sample is converted to a 12-bit digital word that the computer uses to process, analyze, store and reconstruct the original analog signal. The CA Recorder captures and analyzes signals from ITS, as well as industrial standard amplifiers and meters.

Real-Time Interactive Network Technology

Real-time remote data acquisition, monitoring and control

  • Networkability, Redundancy and Simultaneous Backup
  • Two identically-configured, socketed, side-by-side computers allow seamless redundancy, providing you remote access and control without preemption or data loss
  • Real-time remote data acquisition, monitoring and control
  • All CA Recorder workstations can be networked to one site for monitoring and remote controls
  • Synchronized and instantaneous backup of data
  • View your data when you want, where you want, how you want
  • All CA Recorder workstations can be networked to one site or
to multiple sites for monitoring and remote controls

Daily Setup and Configuration for Acquisition

Four easy steps minimize mistakes and reduce setup time

  • A user-defined subject template is automatically applied via a wizard to all the subjects on study. This creates an accurate and consistent configuration across all subjects
  • Analysis, sampling rates, corrections, and calibrations are similarly applied across all subjects in a study
  • A consistent and unique naming convention (based on Subject ID#) is applied across all channel names and parameters
